Jared looked at her, he couldn’t remember the last time they were this near to each other. He laughed at what she said. “Well I grew up, you see” he said jokingly.”The hair had to go” he added. He winked at her. He watched her pull away, he kept looking at her. “Man I’ve missed you” he said directly looking into her eyes. It was the truth. Her leaving was the hardest thing that he ever had to go through. He remembered that feeling of seeing her car pull away. He slid his fingers through his hair.

Alexa listened to him while she took a few steps back while looking around with her arms crossing over her chest again. She smiled down at the ground at his words. She gazed over at him with a smile. “I missed you too. I wanted to come back early but my parents always said no but I’m back. Better late than ever.” She noted, laughing a little bit. Alexa dropped her arms to her sides while moving back to him. She extended her hand out to him. “Friends, right?” She asked, raising an eyebrow. A faint smile showing on her face.
